1. Who we are

This website, www.mrkit.co.il (the “Site”), is operated by MRKIT (“MRKIT”, “we”, “us”), a marketing consultancy based in Israel. MRKIT is the controller of the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. You can reach us at [email protected] or +972-54-814-2290.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, request a consultation, subscribe to our newsletter, or message us (for example by email or WhatsApp), we collect your name, email address, phone number, company details, the services you are interested in, and anything else you choose to write.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect technical and usage data through cookies and similar technologies: IP address, device and browser type, language, pages viewed, referring page, approximate location, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling. We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account or government ID numbers) and ask that you do not send it to us. The Site is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16.

3. How and why we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To send our newsletter and marketing resources, where you subscribed or where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site, including analytics, measuring marketing performance and preventing spam and abuse.
  • To manage our business relationships and comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar regimes)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent (newsletter, non-essential cookies); contract or pre-contract steps (responding to your request for services); our legitimate interests (running and securing the Site, understanding how it is used, B2B outreach to relevant business contacts); and legal obligation. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier processing.

5. Service providers and who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with providers that help us run the Site and our business, under appropriate agreements:

  • Google (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google reCAPTCHA) for analytics, tag management and spam protection.
  • HubSpot (EU data centre) for CRM, forms, email marketing and visitor tracking.
  • Cloudflare for security and content delivery.
  • Hosting, email and communication providers, including WordPress hosting and messaging services such as WhatsApp when you contact us there.
  • Professional advisers, and authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.

6. International transfers

We are based in Israel, which the European Commission recognizes as providing an adequate level of data protection. Some of our providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as adequacy decisions, the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. As a general rule, enquiry and CRM records are kept while we have an active relationship and for up to 3 years after our last interaction; newsletter data until you unsubscribe; analytics data for the retention period configured in the relevant tool (typically up to 14 months). We may keep data longer where the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and opt out of marketing. Under Israel’s Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended), you may also review and request correction or deletion of information we hold about you. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; we do not sell personal information, and we do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights.

To exercise a right, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first and will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or in Israel with the Privacy Protection Authority.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No online transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Providing information to us is voluntary, but without it we may not be able to respond to your request.

10. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party sites (for example social networks and WhatsApp). We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please review their policies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site.
